We stand in solidarity with France and we are ready for new decisive political actions against terror, the President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva said in front of the Embassy of France in Sofia. On 18 July 2016 the President of Parliament, the Chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee Dzema Grozdanova and the Chairperson of the Friendship Group Bulgaria – France Dragomir Stoynev laid flowers in front of the French mission and offered their condolences to the relatives of the victims killed in the terror act in Nice to the French Ambassador Xavier Lapeyre de Cabanes.
“Once again France is immersed in grief and tears – this time on its national holiday”, wrote the President of the National Assembly in the book of condolences. According to Tsetska Tsacheva, the day of the terror act has not been chosen by chance as it is related to the values of the modern democratic world.
I am convinced that France will find the strength and will stand up against the bloody barbarity, Tsetska Tsacheva said. The friendly Bulgarian people mourns the innocent victims and hopes for fast recovery of those injured, she added.
